How Attackers Choose Their Victims
1. Women who are attacked are stalked for days or even weeks leading up to the attack.
2. The assailant has had some initial contact with the victim, even just minor contact.
3. He chooses his victim and then begins to follow and watch them to find out their patterns and behavior.
4. After watching them for a period of time, and he is comfortable that he knows when and how to attack, he will then restrain them remove them to a secluded place if needed.
5. He usually feels an attraction to the victim, and thinks they may have feelings for him as well.
6. It is possible that he may seek an opportunity to speak to his victim before the attack, in some manner that would have not been threatening.
